I love all of her books! Each is equally great. I can't think of anything negative to say about anything I have read of hers. This was another great story that had it all; great characters, fun, happiness, love, suspense, sadness, triumph, family, and joy.
I'm not worried about letting my teenage daughters read anything Jaclyn writes.
Thanks for another great read and please keep them coming!
Couldn't put it down.... Jacklyn has a gift for giving her characters a fullness of personality, spirit and intellect that make them come to life. Her dialogue is quick, real and witty. I can only imagine what her life is like to have spawned the ideas, wisdom and humor she brings to her books
This the fourth book of Jacklyn's I've read this week...
I had read her first two books and then lost track of this author, not knowing she had four new books out. Found out - downloaded them, and have not quit reading since.
Her emotional intelligence and wisdom come through in every chapter. This woman obviously has an amazing array of experience from which to pull her stories. She crafts characters anyone can relate to; they are thoroughly human yet their ideals are lofty. And who cannot relate to that? Each book was an engrossing read.
I was transported into the lives of each character. Now I am sad there are none of her books left on my bookshelf that have yet to be read. I cannot wait for her next book!

I have never read a book before that had me captive from the beginning. I cried, have laughed and felt her deep grief and confusion. What a wonderful book and a wonderfully exceptional writer. I can't wait to read more of Jaclyn Hawkes books!
I'm becoming a really big fan of Jaclyn Hawkes, I love the way she writes! I enjoyed this book a lot. She touches on real things that we face and how we can overcome with the help of others who are put here to help us on our journey through life! I highly recommend this book and all her books!
I always get the feel that it’s like a modern day western. I love it! And am always reading her books as soon as they come out.
This book was great. It is a fun read that warms your heart and makes you feel just as awesome as the characters.

I was completely immersed in the good, bad, and the ugly of being a vet. This story touches on topics such as animal cruelty, abortion, faith, and forgiveness. Truly the family that works together, stays together. There are many misunderstandings, assumptions, and toe-curling kisses. I appreciated the theme of never giving up your hopes and dreams or lowering your standards. The reader will enjoy the fun Aussie slang and play on words. The heartbreaking prologue will draw you in and the sweet epilogue will wrap up all the loose ends. Wonderful characters, strong family values, dedication to God, and the magnificent Arizona desert. I have read a few books by Jaclyn M Hawkes. The latest on Arizona Forever although nice not great. She has had only one GREAT Book the Most Important Catch. On a scale of one to ten I would have to give the follow

Her books since The Most Important Catch have been just average.
This was a fantastic addition to Jaclyn's work! I've been enjoying her works for years now and can count on her for a great story with depth and fantastic characters and this book was no exception! I love how she can transport me to another world with the story - I've never been to a horse race or in that environment at all, so this was a nice exploration of a new setting for me. I felt the LDS faith aspect fit in well with the story and wasn't just tacked on or overwhelming.
I loved this book from the start. It drew me in because I love reading Jaclyn books. She is an amazing written and I have never come away disappointed. They are clean and funny books.
I also loved the fact that one of the characters was an Aussie. I loved his way of talking. The love story that developed while working with horses was so cool. The parents of the Aussie were just as entertaining.
Good on you Jaclyn for a great book. Look forward to your next masterpiece.
Jessie Benn is a veterinarian who wants desperately to be married. Between caring for horses and help on her fathers ranch she is a busy woman. I can feel the heat of the Mesa, Arizona climate. Hot!
Enter Ri. I could never really pronounce his real name. He is from Australia. Came with this great stallion who is primed for a great competition. He is a friend of her brother.
This book does reflect religious beliefs that show Mormon values. Though it is not too churchy. Talks about good values. Could be enjoyed by a teenage reader.
I would have probably given the boo more stars, but this author would greatly benefit from a good editor. She tells a great story, but it could use a lot of polishing the word choices, and sentence structure. Not anything terrible, proofreading was obviously done, but editing was lacking.
Some kissing, but clean otherwise. A bit preachy in some spots, which felt kind of stilted and unnatural - but I don't regret the time spent reading it.
I have been looking forward to a new book from Jaclyn Hawkes for a while now so I was excited to dive into this new one.
Jessie a veterinarian. Her brother works with horses and a man he knew when serving as LDS mission in Australia comes to show his horse in America. But poor Jessie is looking for some one who shares her faith.
I really enjoyed this read. I liked Jessie she was smart and confident. Riordan is giving and thoughtful. I loved their back and forth and how they worked together as a team. I enjoyed all the backstory that helped us understand where the two of them were coming from. The book ended way too soon for me. I would have loved to keep reading this one. Glad there was an Epilogue included with a little more to the ending.
I have watched diligently for a new book by this author. It doesn't disappoint. Great story line depicting characters who are so very real and have the standards and real life dilemmas facing the young people in the this world wide culture, including the daily battle of 'Do I just give in and just settle for less than I know I have always wanted'? A universal question posed in one form or another by all seeking a meaningful and joyous marriage and/or professional lifestyle one so frequently ultimately ignores to 've on with life. The work ethic, selfless service, educational goals attained and love for others no matter their beliefs are spot on. Love this author because she has the fortitude to give real life insight into an often maligned and misrepresented group of people, all wrapped in a story line that grabs the reader from the first to last page oh that she could be more prolific, my deepest desire. She is, however, worth the wait. Sadly, she is neither my relative nor my friend, nor did I receive anything free for this review. It's just from my heart ) !,
